New structure has appeared, seems to be the central living space for the new ruling family. Will need further time to prepare profiles for those associated with this power. Observation: It may be worth considering approaching this family with reset parameters in order to communicate our situation, but I leave this to those with more authority to decide.

[Immediate updated response shortly after the report is sent: We have determined that the threat level of the situation has increased. We will not be resetting the parameters at this time until threat level decreases.]

Observation: Dueling appears to have become more and more of a central forefront of society in the last few days. News reports that the law concerning having a registered Disk and Deck, originally central to the Greater Domino Area, has now spread to the rest of the country. It is now considered to be one of the top pillars of the economy, seemingly overnight. Disputes are more and more considered to be by rule of combat.

This may be to our benefit, as it puts us more on an even ground in the case of an incident. [Immediate updated response: Do not engage unless forced to.]

Primary report: Ren's movements have been quiet. Observation continues on subject "Akira". I am beginning to suspect that Ren may have collapsed due to his isolation. ~~I hope I'm wrong.~~

With approval, I will make a more aggressive move to try to connect and pinpoint Ren's location, if his actions have lulled.

With his inactivity, this may be our best chance.

My mission is going... quietly. Too quietly. I have been distracted by the current events, since LDS was suffering from the recent protests. It has interrupted my observation work.

But there has been a strange lack of activity.

That's... almost a little strange. Wouldn't it make sense to use the chaos to move undetected, if subterfuge were the key? The fact that it's been excessively quiet while other events have been transpiring is... concerning.

I think you have, yes. It's been a minute so the details are... fuzzy.

More his fracturing may have gotten to a point where he can no longer operate as he once did.

I have reason to believe that he's been trying to push further and further from the "safe" zone, of how we are able to commune to... here-- he is the one who helped to create the method in which it was possible, after all, so he knows the most effective ways of removing the restraints, if pressed to do so.

To operate in such a restrained manner is... frustrating, to say the least. But I fear he took his frustrations to such an extreme, that his mind has collapsed on his end. And I do not know for how long this might have happened for.

No matter the trouble he might have caused, that's not a good sign for anyone...

Also I feel like I remember you and him going on a date that one time, so I assumed there was some level of attraction beyond the mission statement.

It's a reasonable avenue, and if things get awkward, you can always back out after achieving the required contact. An apology like that should be easy to give if you don't actually have any romantic aspirations.
